So, while my husband was busy working a 24hr shift on Friday, I decided to make myself productive. Something that drives me insane is when I cannot be my creative self 😊 I really enjoy baking, cooking, I enjoy playing the saxophone, the violin and I attempt to draw haha. Try as I may, I’m not very good at drawing haha. I would love to take up playing the piano, however, they are extremely expensive and I do not have the room in my house for one haha.
I thought I would share with you all another recipe, my banana bread loaf. When I bake, I don’t just bake one thing, I bake consistently until I run out of ingredients. I take enjoyment out of creating things, life in the garden, life in my life or even life in my home.
Prep t: 15 minutes | Bake t: 1hr | Serves: 12* dependent on slice size.
1 tsp Baking Powder
5 ½ C Plain Flour
1 C Brown Sugar
½ tsp Vanilla Essence
½ C Butter
Whisk the butter and sugar together, in a small bowl beat the eggs one at a time, then combining them. Mash the bananas and add to the mix with the vanilla essence and combine it all well together. Sift in the flour and baking powder, and then pour the mix into a lined loaf pan. Bake at 180° for one hour, let cool and serve ❤
This is such a great recipe, derived from my nans recipe I took the good parts of the recipe and made it my own. I love this and is such a great treat, it goes down well with a hot chocolate, if only Ihad a barista machine 😊
